At times, I get needy and insecure. It turns people off, and with good reason. Once, someone took the time to hear me out. It was incredible. I wrote this for him.

For allowing me to try to explain
For truly listening
For even considering my apology

Only you
Have tried to understand
Have given me the benefit of the doubt
Haven’t slammed the door in my face
